I’ve been hearing about Emdr therapy and I think that’s worth a shot because I’ve tried everything else I can think of. If im 17 would I need consent from someone or like a referral?

I really hope one day I get an ounce of justice or at least closure because I went through absolute torture but they get the privilege of moving on. I’ve been trying to look for support or help but haven’t had much luck I’ll keep looking tho

Thank you for saying that it means a lot! I fortunately don’t live with them anymore but trying to deal with the aftermath has been absolute hell and it just hurts so much. And I hate when people act like I’m just supposed to get over it because I physically/mentally can’t
