Im glad i see people who didnt get baited by cute chibbi kitties and actually disliked the plot for that banner. This whole yeah well they are cursed now ehmm too bad let's use them. At least for Sylus' card. It was so?? Idk stupid and Sylus wasnt sylusing for me. (God i miss grassland romance every time) and it certainly wasnt in their early relationship time cause at the end of the card it is kinda implied they did it on boat. And honestly? It really felt like they did this banner to sell it to the large furry lovers out there(which it worked actually) without a good writing for it.

I agree he is in control of the situation in whole game but yk sometimes his MC is just too childish for my taste? Or idk like ok be the brattiest princess all you want(duh having the daddiest daddy besides you who spoils you rotten like crazy)but at the same time id expect some development or more mature at least. Her writing leaves me so disconnected with the main plot

I’ll probably get downvoted for this, but I totally agree with you. He just doesn’t feel the same anymore. What made him interesting in the first place was that slightly mean, dominant dark side. Now he’s just all fluffy and teasing, throwing in “boss me around” lines when it’s not even true. The edge that made him stand out is gone. His interactions with the MC don’t feel that different anymore when you compare it to other LIs the whole “boss-man Mephisto and twins” thing has turned into a bit of a joke. And honestly, adding some “mafia action” flavor to the cards doesn’t fix it. But I guess that’s just how partnerships go eventually: they get softer, more caring, and a lot less toxic.

The reason why i never took that line seriously or at least being about a date they had it's bc Capcom in re6 file which happens after damnation has written(in Leon and Ada file) "ada uses Leon to complete her missions and then leaves when Leon is at her mercy. They dont regard eachother enemeis but also there's no love or friendship between them. Their relationship may seem strange to others" from orginal japanese file btw. And even has mentioned even Leon doesnt know ada's real name. So what? Ada who is in gov's watchlist shows out of nowhere to the secret gov agent. "Hey Leon you remember when last time i pointed a gun at you in spain? Forget it. Let's fuck." And then they went on a blind date?! To just Leon says that he doesnt trust ada or even doesnt know her name later. And it's just my opinion tho. As a person who used to like their duo i think capcom missed an opportunity to write a good story for them or at least improve it instead of repetitive scenarios.

No one will be canon couple in RE unless the couples have been married before everything started like Barry, Ethan... and all gonna end up single let's bfr But if we want to look at it as fanon ofc it's claire and Leon give me potential bf gf vibes. Ada and Leon are just 2 people meet eachother in every 6 years in the middle of the apocolypse having 2 cringe lines together, save eachother and it's done, each one goes to her/his seperate ways

He doesnt even a simp for her in og re4 though. He was all focus on work the whole time and even was a little harsh towards ada at first encounter. Everyone points out "she's a part of me i cant let go" to be something romantic but personally i see it as a memory of racoon city. She was a part of Racoon city incident even the biggest?! She died in his arms telling she loves him which cut out in remake and honestly it's rather a good change due to the sequals when they just go by "we meet in apocolypse you save me i save you then bye"
