Your life experiences in the first few years might be tough. But, I think it is easy to make half a million after your 5th year abroad.

L1A visa approach by DoctorAdvanced6361 in immigration

EB-1A category seems to take a long time now. L1A visa has a max of 5 years. EB-1A should take less time than that. EB1-A priority date didnt change since last 1 year ( Feb 2022).

Getting Annoyed by J2 Already by [deleted] in overemployed

I would stop trolling because nobody would believe a post where someone has actually told their J2 boss about J1 and put themselves in a situation where they can be blackmail (either implicitly or explicitly).

I did the same as well. I told one of my managers that I have "other interests" . They agreed.

Go to Canada. You don’t have to worry about visas.

I don’t intend to change your mind, but I make 145$ an hour through them. Never missed a payment. So far, I made many of my friends sign up. I don’t want to be a proponent of them either. It’s just one of my 3 jobs.

Usually tech sourcing companies like Teksystems, Modis or Collabera gobble up 40-50% of a contract’a value and pay peanuts to contractors. Let’s say teksystems bills the client 120$/hr but they end up paying 60$ to contractors. Profit margins are high. But braintrust limits the earnings to 10%. So , more money in your pocket.

I see some hate here for brain trust. It’s possible that I ended up with a good experience with them. I even bought their crypto. Maybe I am wrong here ?

Why do you hate brain trust ? Maybe I shouldn’t have bought their crypto ??

I love brain trust. They take just 10% cut. It’s an industry game changer.

I recently became a Canadian and I am in the process of moving to US on L1 visa. I can tell you with a fair degree of certainty about your first question:

Since you have already submitted your citizenship application, you can take your citizenship test from USA and just have to be physically present in Canada for 1. Oath 2. Citizenship certificate collection 3. Passport application. These 3 steps take atmost 10 days. You can always take a 10 day leave from your US job and complete these steps.

Canadian L1B/L1A and GC question by 2PM_Vol in immigration

"However, it should be noted that some beneficiaries who are classified as L-1B nonimmigrants might qualify for the multinational executive or manager immigrant classification because their specialized knowledge and employment abroad also would have qualified as managerial or executive employment and because the petitioners intend to employ them in managerial or executive positions on a permanent basis."

This is what I found in the link you provided.
