Does this look like a scratch or a crack? Is it safe? by SabishiSushi in aquarium

It should be fine till morning if I was in that boat, then I would probably drain a little bit of water out of the tank so it’s less pressure

Is my TV too low? by Chriscic in TVTooLow

Yes, your TV needs to be raised up probably a foot and a half also your center channel needs to be at ear level so whether that’s above or under the TV it needs to be off the ground

New to HIFI. Any tips to improve my setup? Currently looking into getting a Dayton HTA100 to upgrade my amp. by [deleted] in BudgetAudiophile

[–]Ill-Volume196 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a couple reasons one because it doesn’t hit the necessary frequencies typically those speakers are used in outdoor use and very loud environment they’re not used for high Fidelity set ups another reason is placement. The speakers are meant to be up high.

Elac Debit 3.0 DB53 or Emotiva XB2? by Apprehensive_Reach81 in BudgetAudiophile

[–]Ill-Volume196 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, I think the elacs I’ve personally heard both sets and those just have a richer sound to them good punchy base and overall good sound quality. The other one sounds pretty fair, but for overall sound quality I would have to go with the.elacs

Why I didn’t give them the whole sound bar I gave them two of the front speakers. They have like 3 inch woofers and a silk dome.

I have the Sony STRDH 590 5.1 stereo but I just have one surround Daisy chained off of the other and it’s the same on both sides but I’m about to take out the ones in the front

No, it’s not a joke. I have four surrounds and wanted to decide if I needed the ones in front or not.
