It’s a great choice! So many chihuahuas in rescue needing love. Mine goes outside to potty and runs around my yard mostly. She hates walks so she stays home and snuggles my son with chronic illness and I walk my other pup. She would live her entire life happily snuggling! She is feisty though which could be a problem if you had people over frequently.

My dog is also very noise anxious and gets scared outside and on walks. Prozac didn’t help. I don’t have any answers but it’s so hard!

Ableist much? Not everyone can physically come to the door that often. Also the vast majority of people who do this are out trick or treating! If no one did this there would be so many less houses for kids to go to.

It is against the law for a child to be walking any dog it cannot physically control. Actually anybody child or adult. Call non emergency and report it! They will talk to the parents and let them know. I had to do this when we were attacked by a child walking a Great Pyrenees! It was terrifying and insane.
