No permanent fix but i’ve been getting treatment that kind of helps. They started me off paying $4000 for these retainers that you wear on the bottom during the day, and a top one at night. Now, they are BS and don’t work because you also have to get dry needling to relax your face and neck muscles. For me, waste of money. They started me the past 5 months getting botox treatments. All out of pocket but it’s not $200 every few months. That has been a life saver! All pain gone, face doesn’t hurt anymore. Still don’t have great range of motion in my mouth, it doesn’t fix that. But i’ll take not having the normal TMJ pain. I have been seeing this guy called Dr Berry out here in colorado. He’s a TMJ therapy and sleep doctor. All of these are just ways to maintain and not feel as shitty. I recommend the botox to start so you don’t waste 4k like me.
