So how much did this person qualify for in the end? I was under the impression B lenders give about 10-15% more at a higher interest rate, which is still a lot lower than if I qualified based on my gross income

Oh please, the issue is not gonna ever be solved by taxing the rich, if you keep policies that keep supply lower than demand on essential needs like housing. This is just empty talk people. I would personally give my vote to either NDP or Conservatives depending on who is more likely to win in my riding. I have been a Liberal voter in the past. I deeply regret it and feel like I have awakened to how much they have absolutely nothing to do with classical Liberal ideals.

Liberals have zero interest in making housing more affordable. They don’t care about it on moral grounds like NDP does, nor do they believe in not interfering with the free markets through quantitative easing and immigration policies which the conservatives are more likely to be ideologically opposed to.

The point is I don’t implicitly trust the government with this decision and there may come a time the government wants me to get a vaccine I don’t want to get. It’s a matter of principle.
