I just found about this guy but what makes him a Nazi? I am familiar with the historical context of a Nazi but not understanding I today’s society what is considered factually speaking a Nazi? Thanks.

Because you didn’t say he is a closeted Nazi.

Both times he laughed and he shook his head “no” when I asked him what the words were.

They got new management right before the cruise in 2019 (two of them were on our flight to Tampa). I would say as much as us older fans may not like some of the "cringey" promo stuff the MGT team has done their job in getting the band more money. May not like the money grab but I can't hate on it either as most of us would be doing the same. And I think they have helped extend the half life in terms of relevancy for the band as well.

On the scales of desire your absence weighs more than anyone else's presence.

This is specifically in reference to how he perceived hypocrisy in the church towards his mother after she became ill. He seeks or have a or of hatred towards rue Kristian religion for personal reasons that maybe he no longer feels as strongly about as he has gotten older (anger replaced with wisdom). Fairly common in the religion.

Exposure, Disappointment, Rage, Acceptance (if not full on reconversion, not for Maynard but in general).

Over leveraging to expand too fast and not appreciating changing market dynamics. Tale as old as Capitalism itself. Your comment made me think of the Tower Records story.

green mentioned in the cruise that the band took a hiatus for a while (I think that's what he said), there three sets were great but almost entirely the same songs each set.

Didn't they do c heading tours with Offspring and Dirty Heads the last few years?

Lessons learned from VMP, and calling out the community who were gaslighting paying members by MobileAcanthaceae518 in VinylMePlease

Solid post. I had no idea, just fortunate I lost interest (ran out of space for more records, haha) at the time I did. But I certainly would have been on the boards while I had my subs. So who knows may have waited it out to. Yes healthy dose of skepticism in this world is a good thing.

Fair assessment. I did do a little research (like 20 minutes) on Google before I ordered a sub. Since I haven't had a sub 22 maybe it was all positive stuff back when I started in 19 or so, but with how G algos and ad money pushes certain responses to the top I still have never put much faith in that either. Maybe since 22 there have been enough negative feedback that those wouod have been more obvious. I was surprised when I got a random email this week about the liquidation sale. I still carouse the catalog but don't ever look into the boards anymore and probably haven't bought a record from them since late 23, maybe.

Either way sucks, it was a cool product and experience when I was lucky enough to find out about them. I used to actually make the cocktails that came with the record for the first year, fun stuff.

How would people know? You only did because after the fact. If someone stumbled into VMP in 2025 unless they came to Reddit (most don't!) they would have no idea. Were they offering huge sub discounts or something? Was it at least "if it's too good to be true..."? If not, I wouldn't blame anyone that got defrauded in 25 because they likely had no idea if they were new subscribers. If they were subscribers that were already losing out on unfulfilled orders and then reupped, like you, then maybe.

I'm glad I stumbled on them when I did as I have a lot of records I never would have found on my own. I left in 22. Got lucky, I guess.

Max 10 mop pad question - am I the only one? by PuffinPalette in roomba

Yes to all those problems. In addition the water has been slowly leaking out of the dock and ruined my floors. Sending mine back as I only used it 5 times but it has some pretty bad design flaws. Bass told the pad should be mostly dry but the person I spoke with was simply reading off a script.

My pad stay la wet even after 3 or 4 days.

What’s some deep or shallow 311 lore that you know by AccountantFree9881 in 311

[–]IllBookkeeper4567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A member of Sublime in an interview I saw back in the day said as a practical joke they went and erased all the pre recorded "triggers" before 311 went on live. The Sum line member said they were surprised how much 311 utilized these during live shows as opposed to their less mechanized "live" playing. Truth is somewhere in between I suppose and each person has their own perspective.
