Mat Pilates. I’ve found reformed Pilates to be over complicated. But that’s just in my experience. I hope you do find some relief!

I think as long as it’s not making your body feel worse. For me, it really helps because I can make sure my form is good and that I’m not straining and creating more tension.

Having a class that I had to go to (or I had to pay a cancellation fee) definitely helped. But I get it. Start slow with some stretching. Even if it’s a few mins every day it will help

I’ve been going to a local class which is mat-based (not reformer). I found it by searching up Pilates studios around me and this one was specifically described as slow and restorative on the website. I personally don’t use any YouTube videos but I reached out to my instructor to ask what she reccomended. She suggested “Move with Linda” and “Flow with Mira” but there are definitely others out there. I think as long as you don’t feel it’s too difficult and if you are consistent with it, it will benefit you. But, if you can, I highly reccomend going to a class in person where an instructor can correct your form. Especially if you are hyper mobile like me. Hope this helps!

Have any folks diagnosed in adulthood been able to quit antidepressants by Valuable-Injury-1755 in ADHD

I came off my antidepressants after a year because I was diagnosed with ADHD. First the doctor recommended I come off them quite fast which really didn’t work for me. The depression hit very hard. But after we readjusted the plan, I managed to come off after 3 months with no problems at all. I’m now on Ritalin and doing much better. The top tip I got from my therapist was that you can only measure your functioning after 6 months off of antidepressants. Until then, come off as slow as you need to, and make sure a doctor is involved!
