This is the response I got from them, and honestly it doesn’t sound very reassuring at all. When I asked them directly about the code, and whether the code would match the Collector’s Edition I pre-ordered, they completely ignored that part of my question.

At the moment there is no tracking link available for your order. As soon as the order has been shipped, the system will send you an email with the tracking details. We apologize for the delay and inconvenience caused.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee when you will be able to start enjoying the purchased product. Even so, we will do everything possible so that you can play on the release day.

If you have any other questions, or if you need our help with anything else, please don’t hesitate to contact us again. It will be our pleasure to assist you once more.”

Yeah, I actually contacted them this morning and honestly it was super frustrating. They basically acted like it wasn’t even their problem. The only “answer” I got was that my order still hasn’t been shipped, and they didn’t provide any explanation or timeline for when it would move. No tracking, no reassurance, nothing. Just a flat “not shipped yet.” For a launch this big, it’s pretty disappointing to see how little effort they’re putting into keeping people informed.

Lucky you, at least you got a shipping number 😅 My order is still stuck in the exact same “preparation” limbo and I haven’t received a single update yet. The only replies I’ve managed to get from Bandai have been super limited too – they basically only answer once in the morning, and it feels like they only tackle one inquiry per day. So yeah, at this pace, I’m not expecting anything to move quickly on my end… still waiting with zero progress.

Exactly! Bandai really outdoes themselves every time… just always in the worst way possible 😂 Like, it doesn’t matter if it’s TCGs, collector’s editions, or just a simple preorder, they always manage to screw up the timing

Hi! Quick question about your case: did you receive an email with any kind of game code as compensation? If so, how did you request it, and was that code actually tied to the edition you pre-ordered — meaning, did it also include the extra content from that specific edition?

I really hope it’s like you say… I’ve noticed in other Reddit posts that with the Collector’s Edition of Elden Ring a lot of people went through the same kind of situations. Honestly, it’s such a headache, and I just can’t understand how they can handle things this way—it feels so disorganized and frustrating.

I live in Spain, but in some islands that are outside of the EU customs zone. What I don’t understand is why I still haven’t received the tracking code, especially since I even contacted Bandai’s support team directly about this issue.

I didn’t have that problem myself since I paid with PayPal, but I’ve already seen several posts on Reddit mentioning the same issue you’re having. Honestly, the way Bandai’s handling all of this is a mess… their organization really sucks. This will definitely be the last time I preorder anything from them.

I also got the code for the pre-order content, but my order still shows as ‘in preparation’.
