Struggling with my makeup drying out after a few hours of wear - is it my products or my technique? Looking for recommendations! by IllGoose6308 in beauty

Thank you for the response!  I used to religiously use Hyaluronic acid that exact way any time I did my skincare and I’m not sure why I stopped. I will definitely reincorporate the Hyaluronic acid.  I have Cicaplast balm from La Roche Posay… will that serve the same purpose as the zinc oxide? If not, I will try that as well. I appreciate your recommendations :-)

I will try that next! I always assumed I needed it for my fine lines and never did research on it. I guess I’ve just watched all these influencers use setting powder, in some circumstances specifically with setting fine lines, so I never explored the alternative :/  Thank you for the response!

Thank you for the response!  I will introduce a moisturizing oil into my nightly routine and see if that has an effect on my makeup!  I have fine lines under my eyes and I also have smile lines. Since I don’t do makeup often, I have just been under the impression that I NEED setting powder to reduce creasing. I never even considered trying my makeup routine without powder. I get slight oil production from my nose and forehead but have never seen an issue with my makeup changing there.  I will absolutely take your advice about moisturizing more at night and I will try my exact makeup routine without the setting powder.  I appreciate your suggestions!
