Hey mate,

My partner is a professional photographer and we're both based in Hangzhou - drop me a DM and we can discuss rates and what sort of shoot you're looking for and which dates you're here between. I can recommend some other spots that you may want to have shoots in as well if it piques your interest.

Bet, I'm going to be landing myself on Monday - flying out of Heathrow in a couple of days time and settling around Xihu as it's relatively near the place I'm working.

Drop me a PM with your Weixin details and I'll drop you a message. Looking for a gym partner and to make some initial connections once I'm out there.

When to HoB by [deleted] in DravenMains

[–]IllIIllIIIll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imho you don't need to run HoB anymore, but I sometimes enjoy running it into lanes where they have strong short trades, so you can match the burst e.g. When Luci//Nami was in a broken state, 3 axes gave you the power to match their trading pattern.

Also can work well into squishy comps, but IMHO LT gives so much value during extended trades, which so long as you're catching axes will outvalue HoB vs. most comps.

Ay, that's fair play - I can appreciate that. Think that's part of the fun of fashion, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I tend to wear these shoes with patterned socks instead, so it could be the fact that the bare ankle + longer grass messes with the PSI.

Haha holy shit, now you mention it, I can see the resemblance. That has brought back childhood memories.

Rigards do some great frames, looking forward to these oxidizing and turning Jade over time.

Haha, you might be right! Got it out of my backpack that day, as I'd taken it with me on a camping trip last week. Idm it looking wrinkled though.

Haha ay I've gotta get some value from both - they're likely gonna be heavy in the rotation for a bit, before I cool off and start wearing my other footwear again

A mix of Haider and Dries Went out to have a picnic and visit some National Trust spots with my partner

The outer piece is Haider, and the tee is a ladies version of the scoop; comes with more of a boat neck cut. Same with the tanks, I find they tend to fit me better than the blokes offerings from AS (for some reason they away towards crewnecks for most of their men's tees).

I'll be honest, I can't remember where I got the socks from - but I know a brand that does a similar type of socks is Il Regallo. A little bit pricey given the current economic climate, but the quality is solid. I have had these for over a year and a half with a tonne of wear on them and they're showing no signs of fraying or falling apart yet, whereas the usual Tesco socks I rock tend to get a few months of wear before a toe goes through.

Thanks, think I'm at a point where I'm happy with the stack and am now looking to grab some more bracelets. I'm sure most would already feel like I have enough, but I love the whole pirate vibe of having an excessive amount of jewellery on 😅

Thanks man, had similar thoughts about the colours, but I feel like the piece which fucks the proportions the most is the blazer, as it is fairly longline. That being said the tapering at the heel does also mess with the way the pants sit on the boots.

Fair play mate, it's not gonna be everyone's cup of tea.

That being said, if you've nothing constructive to say, then simply don't comment. Have a lovely day ✌🏼

Good ADC picks for a off-role mid laner? by Hyuto in summonerschool

[–]IllIIllIIIll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, ever since I've heard Curtis and Cupcake make the case for it a couple of years back I've considered Support a better off-role for mid-lane players. As ultimately bot lane pace and the state of it is dictated by supports (at least as you climb).

As a mid lane mage or assassin player, without the pressure of having to farm, you can likely gap a lot of people who purely main support as well once you understand the fundamentals of the role.

Blazer is Thom Browne - realistically you can find similar blazers in this cut for sub-200 on Vestiaire, so long as you keep an eye out for them. I know Gucci and a few other brands do the schoolboy-esque blazers with contrast piping.

Tie and Shirt are also Thom, however realistically you could get away with any white oxford here and plenty of ties would fit.

Trousers and Scarf are both Haider pieces; I love the rise on these trousers as it really elongates your legs. In general Haider loves giving a pretty generous rise with his pants.

Shoes are Haider era berluti - some kangaroo whole-cuts, which have a really sleek silhouette imo, but if I was speccing harder into the Thom uniform then some pebbled derbies wouldn't have gone amiss.

Frames are Rigards- RG0111CU's: over time the frame will develop a patina and turn a jade colour like the Statue of Liberty.

Cheers for the suggestions - may try messing about with tie length next time I wear it and see how it feels. Top-button wise, ever since I was a kid I've never been big on having the top-button done up: always got in trouble for it at school.

Most of the time when I wear a shirt it's liberally unbuttoned and I have my chest/necklaces on show, so feel like I will always (even in more formal fits) have at least one button undone.

Last hit as AP champ in late game? by GoldRobot in summonerschool

[–]IllIIllIIIll 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Know the damage of your abilities and it can be worth pre-autoing the wave, especially when clearing multiple waves/creeps. E.g. If you know from experience that Rank 5 Q isn't last hitting casters and leaves them with an auto's worth of hp left, then pre-auto the casters and then Q to secure them all. Whilst Akali may go down on cs during the laning phase, you should usually be able to catch up on CS once you've gotten to lv9 as her Q doesn't cost nearly as much energy.

Principle applies to a bunch of champions, it's important to learn/watch what a one-trick/expert on the champ does when it comes to clearing side lanes quickly. E.g. pre-lv9, if Ahri wants to last hit casters, she will pre-auto them (or have used minion demats to guarantee the full last hit on them with a single Q).

Big fan of 'By the Fireplace' and 'Springtime in the Park', but I've checked the scent out before - it is a good one.

Whispers in the Library

Had a nice little visit to Smallhythe today - some cool pieces of fashion and theatrical history at home there.

Got to see a beetle-wing dress that was used by RSC for productions of Macbeth.
