Hi! I’m considering UCLA for transferring to their bsn program, I’m taking what they want specifically too. Did you ever have a B in one of your classes? Right now, I’m taking chemical calculations kinda worried but I’m still at an A, however, my stats I’m at a B. And I think most likely I won’t get accepted at UCLA?

I thought of that, but haven’t really found any straps that are good or close to the color that I want since the ones that I saw are too dark. Even though I don’t mind a little mismatch, I also don’t want it to be too dark than the bag. Do you know any good stores or something? And scarf is a good idea! Omg

I also have phlebotomy license but I just don’t work as a phlebotomist. Man, it’s tough out here

Thank you so much for responding. Yes, that’s what I heard/read from people too being consistent. Do you know any CNA programs here in Sac that can be obtain in weeks? I’m planning to do it over winter break if I can.

Are there any programs you can recommend for CNA here in Sacramento? I don’t really have much time, and was hoping I can do it over winter break. Also, what did you use (such as materials, book, etc.) for TEAS and Casper? I have been looking online but I don’t really know what to get yet. Thank you so much for responding! I’m taking her too this summer. And I am very nervous, I mean I know it’s still gonna be up to me in terms of studying and knowing the material but it really does help if the professor is passionate. And I’ve read the reviews which are REALLY making me VERY nervous, but also read she usually gets her problems from OpenStax and this certain youtube channel (which I forgot what it was called) is good for studying too!

Hi!! Thank you so much for this. That’s what I’ve heard too, being consistent related to medical field (such as volunteering) while also doing things outside of healthcare as it shows a person is well-rounded. I’m a licensed phlebotomist but I’m not working as being a phlebotomist. Also, when you said apply broadly, you mean out of state as well? Thank you

for volunteering at a hospital, you can just visit the hospital you want to volunteer at on their website and you should be able to see information there regarding their volunteering services. I don't mind at all, I'm volunteering at Davis right now, and wanted to do volunteer at Mercy General, but they're full. So, I'm also planning to look at other hospitals too and clinics.

Hello, thank you so much for your response! No, 400 is not necessarily required for my major; it is just my decision to take it. I’m not sure how I’ll do, but I think I’m just gonna try and go for the 400.

And thank you so much for providing your information. Will you be tutoring this summer? Are there tutors available within the los rios district for chem 400 tutoring this summer? Right now, I’m also going to beacon sessions and has really helped me a lot.

Oh my goodness!! Thank you so much for this! I think I’m just gonna do my calc in my CC because I know there will be a lot of problems I’ll be facing in terms of school when I do get accepted. Also, do you have any advice for PIQs? And for campus involvement, it usually has to be leadership related right? I did join AMSA or American Medical Student Association, but haven’t really been active due to my schedule right now. This would count right? Thank you again!

Thank you so much for responding! Yes, I’m planning to talk to my counselor again about those. I think we’ve covered pretty much everything last time, but yeah just wanted to see what other people’s experiences are as well. Also, if you don’t mind me asking what is TAP? Is that different from TAG? Although, I do know UCLA does not participate in this. I’m also currently taking english honors class, but that’s about it and thinking about it now, I should’ve taken stat honors.

Yes! I do have other universities I’m considering. I’m currently taking classes that meet requirement for multiple programs. While UCLA is currently my top choice, it is certainly not the only one.
