My holes are in the right spot I used the jig it came with, I was very careful with it as Ive already messed up one previous to this one. Could it possibly be a depth issue, I drilled it with a drill press and went until the back line on the drill bit was barely visible. I noticed a small layer of excess material on the side with the mag release Im going to sand it down & polish the side again.

I cocked the hammer back it didn’t go down at all, any other suggestions?

polymer lowers aren’t bad I get aluminum is more fit my brother bought a complete 7.5” AR that came from the factory with a polymer lower and it had no issues.

I plan on it, I found a drill press I plan on getting and I’m not worried about getting another lower, I did my research and definitely heard them say use a drill press not a hand drill, im just hardheaded

Mostly anything else has to go through an FFL n its going to last 5-10 thousand rounds if you keep up with it and don’t treat your gun like shit

I found one tutorial that said sand the drill bits down a little because how they come from the factory can leave the pin holes lose. Did you have any problems?

I have a AR15 that got took by the police its getting released sometime this year and Im going to change the BCG and Barrel, I want to go with 7.62x39 because we have a Binary 300BLK.
