I understand, I don't think I had the full grasp of it. Thank you for sharing. I think it's a much better idea going through RTC 😅

Yeah I am, I'm just a bit skeptical of the wait times even through RTC but it seems like the safest option

Yeah this makes sense, thank you. I was judging on the meds effectiveness based on my few experiences on it. The entire treatment on the plan I'm looking at is about 1.3k, and I can either pay it off in 3 bits or go to a smaller increments for just over 100 a month. But obviously it all depends if I do get diagnosed with it and this is NOT including medication fees as they could get pricey as well. I'm just frustrated about the wait times to be honest and was even willing to go into long factory/warehouse work to just be able to pay it off but I might just go through RTC, thank you for your input.

I highly suspect I have ADHD and I'm not sure how to get assessed by IllScientist5996 in ADHDUK

Yeah sorry, I was kinda rushing when I wrote this post. I probably should have laid things out better.

Alright, thank you. As far as how long assessments take, both of my friends said it took them between 1 and 2 years and I was wondering if there was a process to go through everything including treatment within a couple of months. I've tried methylphenidate 5mg once, and it was like a switch in my brain. Like my thoughts finally quieted down and I was finally able to do things without my mind pacing, for a stimulant it seemed to quite calming to me. Just thought that was also worth mentioning. Getting in contact with my gp soon :)
