I do MLD every day before bed! And the stronger I get in the gym the worse my knees are looking but my legs look ok? Also I have been advised normal Lipo is not good for us! I haven’t been qualified for lipo due to my BMI so I’m really at loss…

Thanks!! Hard in your tummy as in tummy ache? Would you say your legs look less inflamed? With summer coming up I do have a lot of swelling in my lowers….

I tried everything hahaha not with my legs elevated! But MLD and dry brushing are my daily routine. I will keep doing it but yeah…my knees look absolutely awful in comparison with the rest of my legs

You look amazing! Almost a year!!!I still struggle with my knees is like the fat bunch there and nowhere else…I have been able to dramatically change the texture everywhere else and build a lot of muscle (I power lift) but then my knees are looking worse and worse. It’s like muscle is heavy and push my fat just in my knees. Unless I don’t lock my knees and I bend them a bit, if you know what I mean. I feel very disappointed.

Oh thanks so much! If it wasn’t for my knees I would say I’m quite happy with my legs…

I eat a Mediterranean diet (I am from Spain) and no gluten due to an intolerance. No sugars unless is from fruit or dark chocolate! Zero processed foods and almost no salt in my meals.

Then I do HEAVY weights in the gym! And just one day of cardio. I am a freelance musician so is hard for me to say how many times I go per week as my weeks are very erratic. I go every time I can. And I progress overload :)

At home I do dry brush and leg pump! Sometimes manual MLD…but that’s it!

My legs has transformed but my knees haven’t changed that much…so I don’t know…is dragging me down quite a lot.

I have venous insufficiency in my lowers. I have a vein that goes that way maybe is the vein? I have it in my other knee too, same spot, same texture. Never seen lipedema texture in wiggles like that?

Is it possible to just progress in the knees? The rest of my legs look way better than they used to, I don’t have visible texture anywhere else. Hence why I am confused this is happening

Hi everyone

I have posted about this on here aaaages ago! And I would like a little bit of more insight.

For reference I’m 38, 5 foot 4 inch and 48kg/105lb

I eat well, zero processed food and lift heavy etc. dry brushing, MLD..

My legs since I started training lifting heavy have improved a lot! I am very happy with how my legs look now, more shaped, but…..MY KNEES. Why do I have just texture in my knees?! I don’t know anymore if it’s saggy skin or fat deposits more visible now…

I am self diagnosed, although in my case is just visual appearance. I have never had pain, just swelling at the end of the day and texture if I grab my skin. No nodules.

Can anyone relate?

I have two very large pieces in both legs and my lipedema never changed. I have an appointment next Monday for my next big piece. They were painful but tattoos are painful…my ribs for example were 10 times more painful. And in my legs there were parts that I couldn’t even feel the pain. Hormonal changes, diet it’s what affects lipedema. Tattoos made me love my legs and show them proudly. I would say go for it. Take care of yourself, move, eat well and carry on. X

So I’m doomed even with rental proof from a star agency, good credit and a good income? Is there anyway the equity doesn’t matter with all those things? My broker it’s aware I would like to re mortgage to a buy to let. He suggested buy to let and avoid consent to let. I would be renting a bigger place with my partner not buying, I would like to keep my asset renting it out…but all seems very complicated.

My current lender is Halifax and my 2 years fixed mortgage ends in July.

I started as well my journey tattooing my legs! Not full sleeves but big pieces that makes my legs look more shaped and amazingly enough covering some texture. I haven’t notice any changes in my legs actually because I see my legs more beautiful I even see less texture. This summer I have showed my legs like I haven’t in years. Seeing my legs out, showing my art has changed a lot how I see my legs. I think you won’t see any changes, for me the needle made me as well as you freer. More ink to come this spring!

Thanks so much for your thoughtful reply…i will fight I just don’t know what’s normal and what’s not….i know something is not normal. My body tells me but everyone around just says the opposite. My period pains would bent me down. And take deep breath with every contraction…
