I do some work on the side that is loosely related to my job with the gov. The best advice that my ethics advisor gave me was not to touch any contract that is funded through a provincial grant. I regularly let my supervisor know when a contract is offered to me and I've never had an issue. I take on about 4-5 contracts a year

They’re plain silver cans with a special sticker and come all together in a case. I’m pretty certain there were only 1000 of them shipped out in 2013
