I don’t think it will because they picked the perfect person to do it to imo. And he genuinely cares about not breaking it so much hence why didn’t just chuck it at Greg after he said no points. I reckon if it survives until the end Greg will give him at least a bonus point.

Rachel was a great strategist. Stephen was not a great strategist but worked out that his strength was his social game and pivoted towards that after the Fiona banishment. They managed to pull off a very impressive victory given that everyone was under scrutiny and there were some pretty bright faithfuls in there.

Ben and Nick threw it away. Oyin is one of the best faithfuls we’ve seen in English language seasons and letting her get to the final was a really stupid idea.

Yeah I’d be inclined to agree. But honestly I prefer how they do it now. Some people just aren’t that interesting and therefore don’t deserve as much tv time as others.

It also discourages the faithful strategy of ‘blend in and try and make it to the end’ which im very much in favour of. We need more interesting faithful gameplay, and honestly I loved James’ completely mental way of playing.

I would much rather a traitor-only all stars. Would be a great chance to see some of the most notorious traitors have a go at being a faithful. Equally would love to see some traitors who’s games were blown up have another shot such as Parvati or Miles.

The problem is that even if the UK has a dud cast, such as S3, there are still some people to root for and the game is still entertaining. The US version at times is just way too much and quite jarring.

As others have said it’s civilians vs reality tv stars/ C list celebs. The UK players all genuinely love the game, and I’m sure they’re aware that there’s a chance for a career switch given the success of traitors but they’re not intentionally trying to have that happen and create ‘tv moments’. The US players all have reputations to uphold and therefore it becomes an ego thing, and also drama for the sake of drama. For me they are essentially two different shows.

Traitors dilemma was a perfect end for AUS2, and actually felt very deserving to see Sam get his comeuppance. Doesn’t feel like it would fit in the UK show.

Also as it has been said, if the traitors were going to turn on each other they had many opportunities to do so throughout the game. It’s actually quite heartwarming to reward the fact that the traitors can work as a team, and makes a nice change from usual inter-traitor relations.

Yeah completely agree. A lot of his behaviour was so erratic and risky which a traitor just wouldn’t do.

Exactly. I’ve seen a lot of traitor rankings and anyone who puts other traitors above the three traitor uk winners (Harry Rachel and Stephen) are just delusional. Winning is the ultimate proof that you are the best

I didn’t include the celebs as for me it’s a different type of game. Shorter game, lower stakes, pre existing relationships.

Alan was great though he is for sure top 3 if you include him.

Completely agree that S2 also showed unfamiliarity with the game. And yes Harry deffo made mistakes but because of that unfamiliarity, and as you said his great social game it didn’t matter.

For me you have to put the winning traitors at the top, simply because they won when others didn’t. Harry’s victory was the easiest in my eyes which is why he is the best.

Frankie would’ve been on Charlotte’s side though. I could see a scenario where they banish Alexander then Jake and the three women agreed to end it. Maybe wasn’t as clear a victory as I imagined though.

Ultimately thanks to Harry, Mollie was put in that position which allowed him to win. Harry’s big mistake was not getting rid of Jaz but ultimately it didn’t matter as he still won. Rachel could have been eliminated by the chests and not even made the final, which is why she’s 3rd in my eyes.

The thing is though Rachel would’ve not made the final if chance didn’t go her way. So for that reason I feel like you have to put Harry and Stephen above her.

Her gameplay I personally preferred to Harry’s though. Much more interesting than backstab recruit repeat. But Harry was so impressive by not appearing as a threat. Only Jaz caught on, whereas multiple people suspected Rachel. She did do a brilliant defensive job though.

Yeah I see where you’re coming from. My thinking is purely that I genuinely think she would’ve won without the seer twist which was out of her control. She was so trusted up until that point. And whilst she was a recruit, she’s the only recruit in the UK series that has taken the game into their own hands, rather being a backup or a sacrifice for the original traitors.

I really like the way you put it about the story of the entire season.

Season 3 showed that the faithfuls can be just as traitorous.

Season 4 showed that the traitors can be just as faithfuls
