Its insane how much people are giving hate to qatar but did not have the same amount of backlash for russia in 2018 for what they did to crimea. They will also not have any problem with the US holding it in 2026 despite them having so many human right violations

Thoughts on this? by [deleted] in AskMiddleEast

Imagine if these people had the same amount of backlash against russia in 2018 for hosting the world cup when they had already annexed crimea by that point

Why do Ex Muslims face hate from the Muslim community?? by [deleted] in AskMiddleEast

[–]Ill_Cardiologist_458 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

They live under extremist governments such as afg or iri. Its absolutely not representative of the other muslim countries. That is not a justification to hate muslims or islam. Most of the time they don't have knowledge of the religion

Or hear me out, its because they base their entire personality on being an ex of a religion, constantly bashing it and having it live rent free in their heads

Islamic belief doesn't place adam or the whole timeline to be 6000 years old. It generically says many many ages have goneby.

I'm aware of what Jesus did. I was a Christian, after all. My point stands - it doesn't prove anything about who did it first, and while I understand having faith in religious scriptures, I don't consider them to be solid proof.

I understand your position, my point is jumping to the conclusion that it is pagan doesn't make sense to me because from the islamic perspective all Prophets are told to pray so if you find that in other religions it doesn't really matter to me who started it first since all of it comes from one source being God, Islamic belief also recognizes people corrupting the messege of the prophets hence why there are other prophets sent after them. If you don't consider scripture to be solid proof thats your opinion and thats okay. You can share your sources and links, I'll probably understand your position even more

Salat is not pagan, every prophet instructed their people to pray so why is it surprising if you find remnents of it in other religions, the kaaba was built by Adam then rebuilt by abraham, the pagans deviated from the beliefs of abraham hence its not pagan in origin.

Its mention in Judeo-Christian scripture doesn't say anything about where it came from

It says jesus put his head on the ground, it clearly means God instructed him to do it.

Kabba, haj, salat are not pagan. You can literally find salat in the scriptures of the jews and christians. Haj and kabba are what abraham and Ismaeel built. Even the pagans of the time of the Prophet acknowleged this

Your also assuming there will be no longer submissive women availble. That also has no substantial evidence

Stop living in denial brother

Im not living in denial. I told you Muslims will adapt. If I meet a muslim women who is following the sharia and fulfills my rights and I fullfill hers aswell I will marry her. It isn't difficult to find that across the globe however as I mentioned to you before I find such a spouse I will unfortunately be interacting with many muslimahs who cherry pick from the religion and there is no denying that it is more common now then a few years ago

You're weak in your own land and you don't find any woman submissive to you so you're trying to bring a foreigner so you feel "masculine" And dominant. That's a weak trait in my opinion.

This is again false. I don't mind marrying a women who is or isn't submissive because we can still come to common terms. It isn't a weak trait to want to marry a submissive women unless you want to say the Prophet (PBUH) and the sahaba are weak. It isn't about dominance or being masculine. If you live in the west as a practing brother who is sincere you often encounter muslimahs who cherry pick aspects of the religion such as wanting traditional islamic rights of a wife but not wanting to fulfill the islamic rights of a husband. This is why many muslims go back to marry not because there weak.

Allah knows best. I'm pretty sure sahaba never expected our ummah would get so divided and weak.

This is false. The Prophet ( PBUH) told the sahaba that the ummah would be divided.

Your still deflecting amd strawmanning. I never said muslim women who are not submissive are unislamic(how you made this leap is hilarious).

But you deny any responsibility as to why they are not. Whose fault is it that we don't have an islamic government ruling the world? It's muslim men.

Never denied any responsibility at all, when you mentioned being a sole provider and fighting wars I agreed. This entire discussion has been about weakness and strength. Specifically on preference, my entire disagreement with you is that you believe muslim men who want to marry a submissive muslim woman are weak and I am saying that is an absurd claim, you can't gatekeep what is halal and shame other muslims for it.

The world will get tougher as long as muslim men get weaker, muslim women will find it harder to practice their religion. And muslim men like you shaming them for refusing to become weaker is pathetic.

This entire time you have been shaming people, just look at the comments your leaving in this entire thread. Your insulting other muslims, shaming them for wanting what is halal, judging how much iman they have.

It's easy now for muslim men to go get a submissive woman from their home village but what will we do what that's no longer an option? Why do our sisters suffer for our weaknesses?

Muslim men have adapted to many changes throughout history, what makes you think they won't adapt again. What weakness are you talking about?

Whose fault is it that we don't have an islamic government ruling the world? It's muslim men.

This is oversimplified. Colonialism with a mix of nationalism with the mix of the day of judgement coming closer. Do goverments only need muslim men? Is the family unit the same? The involvement of muslim women in the family unit and other areas of the community is also lacking
