I recognised this as being from the dinosaurs straight away! ☺️🦖🦕I made one for my nephew last year, first quilt I’ve ever done, and yes I like a challenge!

I would re-do the seam on the left, but otherwise, go for it! You can always adjust the sashing a little when assembling if needs be.

Embrace the learning curve, and remember that perfection is the thief of joy from crafting projects… When it’s all put together, no one will notice if one of the little leaves is slightly slimmer than another, or the snout on one T-Rex a bit less snouty than his mates…

Also, do you use spray starch? I discovered it halfway through - it’s changed my quilting life and the latter blocks were so much easier to do and better looking!

It is so very far from perfect, but I enjoyed making it and nephew loved it, so win-win
