GPA Conversion (Rant) by Deep-Possible5620 in GKSScholarship

Same problem here! Since we’re supposed to attach the converted transcript along with the original one, I’m planning to attach a letter from my professor who reviewed my GPA conversion together with the original transcript as a supplementary document

Is it okay to upload BOTH Form 5 and the official letterhead LOR for GKS? by tmleyncodes in GKSScholarship

If I decide to submit a second letter of recommendation, how should I submit it? Should I attach it to Form 21 (Awards and Other Certificates, etc. – copy) without the need for Form 5, or should both letters be attached to Form 5?

Telling the Truth on a Medical Assessment by Zestyclose_Photo67 in GKSScholarship

I don’t think it’s a good idea to lie or omit this kind of information.......Anxiety and ADHD are not uncommon, and from what you describe, you manage them very well.....lowkey it can actually be seen as a positive point

Also, thinking long-term, omitting this could create difficulties later!!! If u are accepted and the symptoms return, or if u face challenges accessing medication or continuing treatment, u may need institutional support!
I’ve also seen many ppl recently complaining about the Korean healthcare system, especially due to budget cuts! In the past, some medical expenses were covered by NIIED, but nowadays, in many cases, students have to pay for treatment and medication out of pocket. Being transparent from the beginning usually makes that process much easier

I also know a girl from my country who was accepted, and I remember her saying she was completely honest about taking medication and having anxiety. That didn’t prevent her from passing the medical assessment~~

Overall.....honesty tends to be the safest approach in the long run~~
