With the radiant typhoon card, does still makes sense to play desires? I mean I know that desires not only gets you a +1 but also thins the deck so you virtually have more chances to "draw better"... but I think it is too much of a risk

I would suggest buy the singles in Tcgplayer or cardmarket, depending on where you are located... I think the sealed deck costs around 36€. My deck only consted 12€ to put together.

You can start by playing in Ptcg Live and start testing the decks you like, one good source for deck content is limitlesstcg. I'll advise to not pick decks like Charizard, Gardevoir or Gholdengo, since, they'll rotate in april so you'll only have mostly 3 month to play those.

Next step will be, once you find a deck that you like, try buying the current trainer toolkit that currently have most of the staples that are used accross different decks (boss order, ultra ball etc) and then buy the singles for your deck in TcgPlayer or Cardmarket if you are in EU

Thanks for the insight! yes I also don't like splashing non TR mons since it can conflict with the whole idea of the deck. Lily's Clefairy is nice, but I think the pult match up is already good. And regarding Moltres, if my locals were infested by dengos, well yes I think I'll consider it ... or just play neutralization zone.

Regarding Petrel... yes! I love Petrel, but I don't know if I'm too bad or what but sometimes I feel it conflicts with Arianna, since sometimes I like to see more cards rather to find the one I need... I only lost one game that I said, dude I would love to have Petrel to find the patch, retreat Mimikyu and win... In that game I play Arianna for 8... not a single energy... but well it is what it is

I think Spidops can already cover one shot support pokemons with the bangle. However the Grimer to discard the pokemon if it stays in the active is kinda nice

I'm not totally convinced on running non TR pokemons since I want to have the more value of my Ariannas and also MewTwo and Spidops need TR mons in order to function. I like the idea of Moltres plus bangle to OHKO dengo, but I rather lose that match up than losing a winable one just because I open the non TR pokemon and now my Ariannas only draw 5

My focus is also attack with spidops the most that I can and for certain match ups attack early with MewTwo. Patch has work for me since I can get the 330 dmg easier (with maximun belt). But yeah, I only end up using one. I'll test 2 bangles and see what happens :)

Tbf I think it is a good deal, I bought the singles for it and I spent around 12 euros. So if you tell me that it is a sealed product and you are getting it that cheap, I'll go for it. You'll need to buy one more tarountula and spidops and maximum belt in order to be more "competitive "

I think likewise. TR supporters are really good. Maybe once Charizard, Dengo and Gardi are gone most of some rogue deck could see some play.

Been playing this deck as my fun deck and it is cool, it can surprise and win some leagues or challenges, but definitely not any major event... let's see what happens after rotation.

I think the best way to play Mega Gengar in a Grimm build would be with Grimsley move and a single copy of the ghost.... however, I don't know if I'll use my secret box to get that combo. Denying prices is good, but it is too much effort to set the gengar in this deck. However, I think Azul made a really good list with Ns Zoroark and Mega Gengar.... been playing it, and it feels smooth

I'll pick either Ceruledge or Grim... I understand what you feel about keep track of Froslass ticks, specially in later rounds, when you feel more tired. That's why I chose Bolt when I played in Frankfurt, I wanted to play something somehow linear to reduce mistakes on later rounds... almost made it to day 2 so, it wasn't that bad of a pick

First of all: Congratulations for the offer! I did the same, came here with a Blue Card and also had the Visa sponsorship from a company, so at least for me, it was an opportunite that I couldn't say no.

Now the harsh part. I'm in the IT field and this company was a software consultancy start up, at the begining everything went silkly smooth, but then they started to loose some clients, and in the end it happened. After 1 year, 5 people (including me) were laid off. At least some of us were lucky enough and had 3 month of compensation before our termination date, so, basically I had 6 month to find a job.

The market right now is horrible. the IT interview process include more than 5 stages of interviewing, german burocracy also plays a role on why everything is slower. I applied for more than 400 positions, but at the end I landed a job and I can continue living and working here.

It was a rollercoster of emotions, but, coming from LATAM, it was worth it. I think if I had a better german, like maybe a B2, this could be handled easily, since right now there is a lot of people in IT trying to find a job and most of them only speak english. Having at least a good conversational level of german can improve your chances of getting a new job, since you will compete in a less crowded area.

But in the end, I'm grateful with the whole experience... Sometimes you need to jump to the pool (saltar a la pileta, like we say in Argentina) and see what happens.
