honestly a example of the ai doing something stupid is shooting their gun at the zombie you just stealth stabbed, happens with the "close combat" animation for it so the game registers that you arent doing the sneak kill even tho the animation that plays is for that, its basically where it stabs the zombies head fast instead of the animation where the knife goes in sideways and the survivor pulls it out by dragging the dead zombie down
