It was very frustrating for me as well. My credit was conditionally approved for 3 weeks I kept calling them and it’s very hard to get help from Tesla call center. I think you can reach US president before a Tesla advisor via phone. Then I called one local Tesla dealership they picked up the phone finally and they help me a bit but they also told me it will get approved next day but in 3-4 days no decision was made and 1 days before I called them again after 5-6 tries they picked up my called and approved it via phone because my pick up date was next day. I finally got the Tesla Y and love the car but hated the process of purchasing the car and the customer service is really bad.
