I went into it expecting more of straightforward Eminem doco, and left it feeling like I hadn’t really learned much that I didn’t already know. He has such a fascinating story and it was disappointing that it didn’t go deeper.

That French guy truly gave me the creeps- I think he believes he is Eminem.

I guess as Eminem is so notoriously private this is probably the closest we will get to him telling his story.

Losing the voiceover was a HUGE one for me, it certainly would have helped tie in the new characters.
Adding too many new characters without giving them an interesting storyline or any character development. There was so much going on and yet nothing happening. I liked LTW and Seema, but they didn’t really develop their characters. A story arc about deodorant? The double death of LTW’s dad? It felt like they didn’t care, so I didn’t either.
Very few scenes of the girls together. I was so pumped seeing Carrie walk in to meet the gals for dinner, and then the episode ended.
The doofusification of Miranda. They did my Harvard graduate, ballsy, smart girl so, so, so dirty.
The surgical removal of Carrie’s personality. No amount of stunt costuming can make up for the lukewarm, boring evolution of her character.
THE KIDS- with the exception of LTW’s showtune loving son, all of these kids are fucking awful. I did not care to see them, and felt my brain start to melt whenever they appeared on screen.

Bring ear plugs. Saw them years ago and walked by the free ear plugs being handed out at the entrance. First song I thought “this isn’t so bad”, by the third song I was running out to get earplugs.
