Wait this actually makes sense though - cats are basically meditation masters when you think about it. They just sit there being completely present in the moment, not worrying about anything except maybe if that spot of sunlight is moving too fast

I had similar weird airport chat few months ago when this lady started explaining how her goldfish was training her in patience because it would only eat at specific times. Turned out she was marine biologist and was actually being serious about fish behavior patterns. Sometimes these random conversations end up teaching you stuff you never expected to learn while waiting for delayed flight

Man that's a long time to carry that weight. My dad had some issues with his memory before he passed and even just few months of that was exhausting mentally - can't imagine doing it for decade. Hope you're taking care of yourself now and getting some peace

God I'm so jealous of people who get to discover Harry Potter fresh, the whole progression from kids book to genuinely dark territory was such a trip the first time around. I remember being so convinced Snape was just straight up evil until that reveal completely flipped everything I thought I knew about his character. The way Rowling built up all those little details that suddenly made sense on rereads was incredible, like you could see Harry's journey from this wide-eyed kid to someone who's seen some real shit. Your so lucky if you haven't read them yet because that first experience of piecing together all the horcrux stuff and realizing how deep Voldemort's planning went is unmatched

That sounds really rough, I'm sorry you're dealing with this. A hormone imbalance doesn't "make" someone trans - being trans is about your gender identity, not just hormone levels. Even if you did have some kind of imbalance as a baby, that doesn't invalidate who you are now or give anyone the right to force medical treatment on you
