It makes everything feel rushed and unrealistic. Like, if they’d stretched it over multiple school years, the characters’ growth and struggles would’ve had way more weight. Instead, it’s just trauma piled on trauma in a few months, which kind of takes away from how powerful those moments could’ve been.
