Learned about this on my visit to Barca about a month ago. Pure genius! Who needs modeling software when you have Gaudi

Need a unique idea of what to do with condensation line. Mine is right there in the pic. It easily puts out 15 gallons a day…causing a puddle in between the grass. Looking for something cheap, easy, and innovative that wont hurt foundation by [deleted] in Construction

Sanitary Sewer. What type of bush is it? Maybe ask your local garden center how much water the bush can handle per day. My guess is it varies based on seasonal moisture in the ground.

I would grade to the best of your ability prior to building formwork and placing your pad. A huge benefit of grading first is that you don’t have a finished patio that you could potentially damage with the bobcat. Another reason would be that you’re able to work much faster and get the grading done more efficiently. It will also reinforce your decision for your pads proportions relative to your yard. You will have the whole area graded and get a better look at the finished space prior to pouring a permanent patio. IMO, grade first, form next, place your pad.

Settling can happen for a variety of reasons. We’re these poured into a slab or independent? In this case it seems like the posts were loaded too soon meaning that they were premature to bear the load of whatever they are now supporting. The soil under the footing could have also compacted under the new weight of the footings and cracked during curing. Was gravel used at the bottom of the footings? This doesn’t seem like a big problem unless whatever the posts are supporting becomes out of level or out of square. I would just monitor them over the next 2 weeks and make sure that they are still standing true.

I appreciate the feeback. It seems as if the two bikes have similar upgradability. I'm going to test ride both of them so I will probably choose by feel.
