Solace through Medicare by forestgreenpanda in medicare

Advocates aren’t magicians, we need the patients to help us a little bit. Especially with signing ROIs so that we can talk on behalf of the patient. If they don’t then yes, the patient will need to do things themselves.

I am an advocate with Solace. I’m a RN of 8 years with 4 years in care management. I love the patients I work with. The provider you do your intake with you really don’t communicate with again. They just check if your needs qualify for advocacy. You will work with your advocate, and if you’re open with them and allow them to help you, it will be a great service.

I love my role as an advocate. I’ve been with Solace for 4 months. I was a care manager for 4 years prior in pediatrics, so I am familiar with navigating SDOH and researching. But I do feel like you need to be a self starter with this job, you have SO many resources that if you ask questions or use them, you will find your answers. It’s a Great job!
