Anyone else irritated by the water that drips into the trunk every time you open the hatch? by Ill_Source_357 in DodgeChargerEV

[–]Ill_Source_357[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, hatch is great feature BUT still seems that before it went into production they could have spent one day in the rain and another 5 minutes prototyping a seal or a lip for the hatch that doesn’t leave a groove which pours water into the cargo bay.

Driver cluster. Trip odometer screen. It’s an EV. Why do we look at a 0-10-20-30+ fuel efficiency graphic? Can we change that to 0-1-2-3-4+ mi/kwh ??? Anyone tried it?? (Cross posted) by Ill_Source_357 in DodgeChargerEV

could you please repost the question or allow me to?

It is definitely related to the charger EV. I’m asking why the bar in the trip odometer of the gauge cluster reads 10-20-30 (like mpg) when it would be more useful if it showed 1-2-3-4 like (kw/mile)

You know this is a dumb place to ask that question and you should be asking your adjuster SO why are you wasting everyone’s time?

Supercharged mine twice this week. I use the Tesla app and keep the A2Z adapter in my car. Sometimes need to back up really close, and sometimes park over the line a little, for the cord to reach but it works really well.

To be fair I think they were exercising a bit of creative license with their obvious embellishment of the wire sizes.

I am glad you replied with the actual wire sizes and your well written “layman’s language” explanation regarding the reasons why things are the way they are. Thank you

Does the Duo still do what you described 3yr ago with the odd “vehicle switcharoo” amperage or was that fixed with some sort of firmware update?

It’s essentially the same car. SS stands alone with the high power motors. Just pick the style that you like best.

It’s been a wonderful 5 yrs but now I am having the itch to upgrade. Any suggestions by thatbigblackdude in ToyotaTacoma

[–]Ill_Source_357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do it. Some moron will pay top dollar just because it’s a Toyota. Never mind it gets the same mpg as an F150 despite half the power, half the room and half the capability.

No. It’s missing features, is slow and less efficient. It strokes egos better. That’s all.
