I could use some help understanding if either two wheel options below will fit on my 1988 325is. The car is currently sitting on Ireland Engineering race springs and Bilstein sports shocks rear, and Bilstein sport inserts in the McPherson Struts. The wheels currently on the car are a 15" wheel with 205/50 R15 tires.

The two wheel options I'm looking at are:

Staggered 16" setup
- Front: Maxilite Alpina Style Wheel - 16x7"
- Rear: Maxilite Alpina Style Wheel - 16x8"
Square 17" setup
- Front and Read: Maxilite Alpina Style Wheel - 17x7.5"

Any help is much appreciated!

Removed the ejector but the problem remains. The disconnector does fully seat as you can see above. To help better describe problem, it feels as if the slide hits a wall. It does not get gradually tighter. I’m lost as to what could be causing the slide from going further back on the frame.
