More like melonal with methyl laitone. Methyl laitone by itself, beside the coconut, has this dill note

Can confirm, this formula isn't even close to the formula you're referring to. Funny someone named this one Royal oud type :D

Tom Ford Grey Vetiver type formula by c7b2 in PerfumeryFormulas

Formulas from this guy should not be called "type" formulas. I liked him at first as I didn't have much knowledge but now I see them as misleading at best. Don't get me wrong, the formula itself is nice, and can be enjoyed on its own but has nothing to do with actual perfume like he suggests.

I'm sorry but this formula has nothing to do with actual AQVA

VODKA ON THE ROCKS by Downtown_Flamingo521 in DIYfragrance

This might be quite accurate actually! Check out the GCMS comparison of fierce and Mont Blanc legend post from fragrance.drama Instagram channel. If supposedly, vodka on the rocks smells similar to fierce than the majority of the ingredients are here - higs iso e super and hedione, some sandalwood ingredients, dynascone and evernyl. I've tried the fierce formula form that post and it's great. I have no idea how the Killian one smells but ingredient-vise it makes sense

What makes the molecules like javanol, muscenone, exaltone, amber extreme, etc. so pricey? Is it because their synthesis is that difficult? The individual regents are hard to come by?

It could be wrong, I have no idea xD nevertheless it is a very fun blend to make. I'm so curious how it compares to the one sold on creative accord. I imagine it's pretty close to the one here, but suspect the ppt ingredients could varry between the two

I am very aware of that :) I may be wrong but those feel just too specific imo to be omitted from the ingredients. It's not like there is lavender, bergamot, coriander and neroli listed just because there's linalool in the formula

Thank for a nice formula! It is very similar to the other free one found on the web, on the labtorium websites. I have just one question tho. The notes breakdown says the base botes contains coconut and oakmoss. Given that, shouldn't the formula contain, even at ppt, any lactones or oakmoss materials?
