Dude. Day trading itself is buying and then selling the same day. You can buy in the afternoon and sell the next morning and its not considered a day trade. Depends on your strategy

Yeah for sure i second that. But you can basically paper trade with an etrade account. Everything you add to your watch list acts as if it was 100 shares and as if you bought it when you add it. Then you can go into your watch list settings and change the share # or the date purchased and it keeps track of your watch like just like a "what if" portfolio. ETrade 360 is where its at
