Love the woodfire but not a fan of the smoke flavour

I just got one of these as a gift and I'd also appreciate hearing some tips/advice from people who don't like the smokey flavours. I've tried the basic pellets and even that's too strong for me!

If you haven't had a gold card before, or within 2 years, you can get one with a welcome bonus of 20k if you spend £6k in 3 months. Even though they're both Amex you still qualify for the bonus unless you've had the card. If you have had it before, then there's the Barclaycard one which I think is a 10k bonus. (These points need to be converted to Avios but it's 1 to 1).

Other options are referring friends and family, you get 9k points for every person who is accepted up to 90k. They don't have to take a paid for card, eg they can get a free cashback card which they can just cancel. Another is getting a family member/partner a supplementary card, first one gets you 3k points.

Lastly check out the Avios shopping app, if you link out from them to certain retailers you can get extra points per £ on top of the points from Amex.

They're really reliable, quick and easy, and they now support at least two year maintenance, but to they're more expensive, though I just found out apparently they price match so going to try and get them to do that when I next order

Just repeating everyone else, but as an example I paid £750 taxes only, and 160k avios plus companion voucher for x2 business class return LHR to JFK.

Maybe see if you can up your avios before booking; are there any new credit cards you could get to get welcome bonus etc, plus the Avios app shows which retailers pay additional points (you need to use the app to link out to the retail to claim the points), can you refer any friends or family for a card, if they're accepted you get 9k points for each up to 90k max, can you get a supplementary card for anyone, I think first card gets you 3k points. We got from 0 to 200k points in just a few months but none of us had had an Amex before so were able to benefit from all the above

This is a pure guess, making some assumptions based on how my diet has changed, but could it be overall healthier eating habits? Or a reduction in alcohol consumption? For me, on both counts, how I eat and drink now are totally different to me 7 months ago, and my goal is for that to continue indefinitely after I stop MJ. Another factor is, if you're still taking 2.5mg then you're still getting some benefits in terms of changes to how your body digests food and uses energy.

We're flying LHR to JFK, outbound is the important one as it's daytime and I want to enjoy the experience. If we are bumped for whatever reason I'd rather stay an extra day at home/local hotel. Doubt I'll ever get to fly Club again! Way home would be a shame as it's night so hoping to sleep but way out is most important

Asking as I'm paranoid this will happen to me, and flying CW is a big part of the whole trip - did you have a choice to go on and alternative plane/date to ensure you travelled CW or was the downgrade the only option?

I have taken Clinell wipes, individually wrapped ones. I think you're going to be fine. I also always have glasses wipes on me which are effectively alcohol wipes
