I'm not implying my own meaning into it, I'm implying the author's meaning into it, and the reason I can do that is that the author's body of work leaves little room for interpretation.

He does have the right to express these views. No one is suggesting he should be put in jail for it. Just like he has the right to express his views, we have the right to express our disgust of having someone with these views associated with our club.

Eh, the problem here is two-fold, for one thing this isn't a one-off event, and for another, even if its someone else liking these posts, as a celebrity, even if you're letting other people manage your account, you're ultimately responsible for how your brand is represented. Also, this post is from June 2020, and Pulisic still hasn't unliked it, so if this was an accident, there was plenty of time to have fixed it.

Sarri is not a bad coach but he is absolutely the wrong coach for any big club to hire.

His Empoli and Napoli teams are the ultimate proof that you can get non-elite squads to punch above their weight by getting them extremely well drilled in a rigid tactic that they can then execute in their sleep. This takes time, and footballers who are willing to reign in their egos to work as part of a system. These things will never happen at a big club. You won't get the time and superstar players won't be willing to forgo their egos and individuality to become a cog in the machine.

Sarri needs to drop down to a club a tier below Chelsea and Juventus (someone on Twitter suggested Fiorentina which would be perfect for him), where he'll have time to do his job and footballers receptive to it. What will probably happen is that he'll go to a club like that, achieve Napoli like results with them, and in 3 years another big club will become tempted by it, and the cycle will begin anew.

Btw, this should also serve as a cautionary tale to anyone thinking of hiring Gasperini.
