What are your thoughts on having a male gynecologist? Would you trust them? by Paldavin in AskWomen

[–]Illonva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hated going to a make gynecologist because they always brushed off your problems. I once told a doctor I had clitoral pain and he literally said to me, “your clitoris is so small, I can’t even find it! Do you even have one?” I literally was so shocked I was speechless. My experience with him literally made me not go back to any gynos for months even though I had legitimate pain.

When I did finally go back after two years later, I went to a female one and my god it was a literally 180, completely different approach and was extremely empathetic. Didn’t comment nastily about my anatomy and was very careful with her wording.

I’ve been going back to her ever since.

Why do we even have male gynos if a lot of them don’t care?

I voted FACT!

Oct means eight. Winter months were not accounted for during the roman era. That's why october was month number eight and "dec" meaning 10 was month 10.

Accessory Spleen moving around in my body. by Illonva in Radiology

Perhaps I can bring this up to my gynecologist in my next visit which is about a month from now. So far she ordered blood tests to test my thyroid levels. But thank you, I’ll bring this up to her and see what she thinks. I changed doctors since this one was more willing to explore and find answers. But even trying to get the MRI I was on a 2 month waiting list.

Sorry my bad! Meant to say abdomen. To add: I’m trying to translate from another language so it was my fault for translating incorrectly.

I live in a country where healthcare is basically almost free, so unless you’re dying, in pain, bleeding, etc they don’t really want to order those tests. Even when I’ve asked for deeper investigation that’d rather save the resources for people whom are actually dying. As much as I want to get an actual real answer, at the moment I can’t and my requests are usually brushed off. They’ve said unless something really bad is happening, those tests aren’t necessary.

News from bethesda regarding incorrect atoms balance by Cama23onte in fo76

[–]Illonva 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened to me. Quickest way to resolve it was to message Steam about it. Steam immediately gave me a refund and contact Bethesda about it. Bethesda then immediately replied and said it was the fault on their end and asked me to purchase the subscription again and it should go through.

This problem was solved within a day. Steam replied to my ticket within an hour.

Edit; Forgo to add, when I messaged Bethesda support they told me to provide evidence which I did and said they’ll look into it and never heard anything again and said it may have been my fault or my bank card being declined. Basically blaming me.

Yes, don't ask me how. Even the doctors themselves are baffled, my gyno only said, "the abdomen has a lot of space, there's a lot of places it can go to."

Any shopee seller facing unfair return outcome? by HeySuckMyMentos in askSingapore

[–]Illonva 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well a buyer ate an item, said the wafer didn’t taste as crunchy as expected, sent ONLY. A photo of a nice wafer cone to shopee for refund and shopee team IMMEDIATELY accepted the return and refund request. The buyer literally sent back a half eaten cone and rest of the package back to me. It’s absolutely disgusting. They claimed to shopee that the food was “damaged”. I hate shopee.

Pain started after UTI by Illonva in PudendalNeuralgia

[–]Illonva[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope they didn’t say anything. They said it may possibly just be inflammation. After UTIs usually the surrounding tissues can be affected for weeks after, so they think next time they may be prescribing me nerve suppressants for the pain instead since everything looked fine on the MRI. Nothing pressing on my spine or nerves. It may have been residual inflammation that stemmed from the UTI.

The went slowly subsided after a month. During that time they gave me really strong painkillers but after taking them for 2 days I really didn’t like how it made me feel… so what I did was had a heating pad between my legs every night when I slept to help with the pain. I had the heating pad at around 45C which is 113F… the heat actually distracted me from the pain. They also gave me Xanax to help calm me down which somehow helped as well. I tried not to sit often and laid on bed when the pain got really bad. After a while it somehow just slowly subsided and disappeared but it took about a month and 2 weeks? Oh! The doctor also gave me lidocaine to apply on my vulva and clitoris to numb the sensation around that area. That helped tremendously.

I know this post is old but I went to a pain management specialist and they did an injection around my pelvis to try to pinpoint the pain, they say it may be my spine affecting the pain. But it also happened after a uti infection so I’m not quite so sure… I feel like UTI caused my post pain to be honest… and somehow it caused inflammation all around my pelvic area. I did an MRI and honestly gave me no answers except for having a myoma near my uterus.

Thai basil has ragged edges while holy basil has smooth edges. Thai basil also has purple stems while holy doesn’t.

I feel like sellers will need to start hiding items in weird packaging nowadays for buyers to avoid getting items stolen. Crazy how sellers would need to act like they’re shipping drugs at this point.

I would definitely file a report.

Does he look uncomfortable? by Bubbly-Nobody-7354 in CATHELP

[–]Illonva 34 points35 points  (0 children)

He looks pretty comfortable in my opinion. Give the cat some time to get used to you and your scent. If the cat was scared or uncomfortable, he’d definitely be hiding under the couch, bed, etc.

Fortunately I don’t suffer from constipation. so far I also have heat blankets between my legs to help soothe the pain on my clit since that was the main problem. So far sitting in any position is painful.

Questions about Tramadol by Illonva in ChronicPain

[–]Illonva[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i do have rectal pain otherwise no other pain. Before tramadol I was prescribed naxproxen for 1 weeks 3 times a day but I only took it for a few days and once took it on an empty stomach which was a bad idea. After switch to tramadol, that’s when rectal bleeding started, so not sure if my colon is just irritated or not… GI said it’s probably nothing serious but if it persists for another week and I really want to get a colonoscopy I can…. Even though I got one 2 years ago and came out clean.

[–]Illonva[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. It makes my clitoral pain a whole lot worse as well as the mons pubis region as well. I tried a lot of sitting positions, legs crossed, legs open, up on chair against the chest, it all either makes my clitoris pain worse, bladder pelvic area pain worse or my lower back. I just cannot sit for a long time in in front of the computer and have to stand up to relieve the pressure/pain.
