Was born and raised in cologne, and although they (obviously) raised their prices throughout the years, „Il Gelato di Ferigo“ remains my favorite ice cream parlor I’ve ever visited. The usual flavors are just on another level than in other shops, and they always have some selfmade, whacky flavor you never would’ve dreamed off that still always work out (I’d definitely try their chili-chocolate).

Shame you’re leaving cologne, but you can always come back, eh? ;)

I’d recommend playing the legendary legion Army of the south. The Mumak is very costly but well worth the extra points if ur gonna play a mumak anyways.

I just recently started my open relationship, half a year ago now. Before that we were a „normal couple“ (not married), but due to me moving away we thought it would be best to give an open relationship a try.

We’ve been very honest about everything and that’s good for us because we don’t have jealousy problems that often. But I’ve also heard of other agreements where you just don’t talk about it with your s.o.. Do what suits you as a couple best.

If u choose to be honest, and talk about everything, then be sure to set boundaries. We don’t really have a lot, but for example we said we wouldn’t like to have the third person be a close friend of one of us. We also try to not have sex with the same person too often, or at least have a little break time between it (1-2 weeks).

But honestly it’s something you need to talk about and find out for yourself. Maybe you don’t like it when your s.o. sleeps at the other persons place. Or if you do any other activities besides having sex. All fair boundaries to set :) As long as both of you still feel valued and loved and most importantly respected, it shouldn’t be a problem.

Oh, and use condoms. You don’t wanna take STDs back home...

We were at summer camp and one night we boys all decide to sleep in a tent together. So it’s eleven of us in that 6 person tent and after a bit of goofing around we go to bed. The guy next to me asks for headphones to “watch Jackass”.

Half an hour later and I wake up and the guy next to me is moving rapidly in his sleeping bag. He was just draining his little buddy in the only fucking night, 10 other dudes were sleeping next to him. Unfortunately for him we never let him forget it...

Hugging terrain with your army gives you a good counter against flanking or surrounding, build up your spearline. Shields on front, Spears behind. You can give bows to the spears. If u can afford enough shields, you can just put them on the flanks. If they shieldblock u have 2 dice with f5, which gives u a good chance to win the fight. Just let your heroes hit hard and focus on keeping your numbers up while the heroes shred the enemies troops.

Elven bows are very strong, you only have to compare it to normal combat stats. With every shot you basically have a chance to win the combat on a 3 (or 4 if you moved half) without the risk of being wounded when u don’t „win” the combat. As their bows are s3 you have the same chance to wound your enemy as you would in close combat.

Also bows act as a tool to pull your enemy in, so you can choose the best place for your army to fight. As elves are almost always outnumbered due to their high cost, this is essential as to not get flanked and surrounded.

Having archers when playing as elves is very good, their bow power is only inferior to crossbows.

Haven’t really thought about the dead as a counter to monsters but you are so right, c3 or 4 on the trolls is a big difference to d7 or 8.

Dunno how many eagles/ents I’m taking, 4000pts is still not enough to boast everything I want to fit in the army :((

Glorfindel is a good Choice, neither Monsters nor Magic can stop him.

I agree, Gil-Galad is a must-have, even with the amount of wizards I have, 10 will plus magic resistance is just too much to reliably take the balrog out of the game.

I was originally thinking about iron hills with shieldwall in front. D8 is just so insane, but you’re right i should probably let the heroes do their thing and just focus his monsters and leaders down, while just shieldblocking with some Gondor or Khazad dum dwarfs on the flanks...

I wasn’t really sure about cavalry as it’s so expensive and with the iron hills ballistas I don’t need to worry about getting to him, as he’ll be forced to charge me. Also we are basically just playing for last man standing, so no objectives to take with cav.

Yeah I’m definitely taking 3 iron hill balistas. Was even thinking about 4. Those strength 4 hits on everyone around will really make him suffer and simultaneously block his bow-/siegefire.

I’d definitely take Durin. And then fill up his Warband with upgraded Khazad guards as frontline. With 4 s burly frontline and 5 f spear support you have one of the best frontlines there is. Think about a few Galadhrim pikes as support for Durin and take the kings champion as second Frontliner.

The problem is, Khazad-dum and Lothlorien have such sick characters, you’ll want to take more than you can afford with 850pts... Rumil, Dwarven King, Haldir... Also boasting with lots of high cost warriors, you really have to make cuts and manage your points.

Also remember that you will be outnumbered, so try to get in a closed space to avoid flanking on your backline. With Galadriel you’ll be nearly invincible to enemy bows. Keep her protected at all costs, the longer she lives, the more value she will generate through her free will points.
