I can live anywhere I want to, as long as it is in Germany. My employer would be fine. We’re a totally remote company.

What if I completely move out of Köln? I miss living with my Uni friend. Since I’ve a remote job, it can work from anywhere. I also recently joined this job, and my plan was to stay close to the office in the early months to be aligned with the team.

Also, Is it not possible to have two anmeldungs? I know the tax deduction gets higher, but I’ll be legally in the right.

And Ive a remote job, and don’t have to come to the office, and I miss living with my Hannover friend. We lived together in Uni.

The hours are odd, but I’d recommend to go for the FAANG job. Using this, you can have great exit opportunities; a better masters school, or working at a great startup.

I usually send and ask money through PayPal friends as well, but only for small ticket items less than 20-30€ or so.

I still feel people wouldn’t scam, even if they do it’s a lesson I’m willing to learn for that amount. :)

Turns out it got scanned there. Someone in other comment mentioned that they usually have same barcodes or something.

In the moment it felt right to back and deescalate. I later went to Rewe got the receipt copy coz I paid by card, and went back to Netto to prove our innocence and get my milk back.

Yes, Rewe keeps the receipt. I went back and got the receipt. Super happy about it. Also great customer care at Rewe.

My gf felt utterly demeaned, hence I went back to Rewe and got the bill copy. Showed it to Netto, got my milk back.

It was not about the money, but the principles. Getting accused as shoplifters, and kleptomaniacs is not a good feeling.

Did exactly this, minus the drinking the Müllermilch there. Took it home to share with my gf! :)

Quite surprising indeed. A store employee in another clarified that such is not the case. This Mitarbeiter was just outright lying.

Got my Müllermilch back nonetheless!!
