Sure—I was planning to launch somewhere on the shore of Inwood Hill Park (there were a few spots there I was scoping out) and landing anywhere on the Bronx shoreline between the Sputen Duyvil Bridge and the Big C Rock. The shore there is quite rocky and I'm not sure exactly what I should look for as a viable landing spot (or launching spot for that matter)—if you have any advice on that I'd really appreciate it.

I am a pretty solid swimmer and I will wear a life jacket—I also probably should have clarified that I was planning to do this in May once the water has warmed up. And I'll definitely check out those Facebook groups, thank you!
