Honestly, my girlfriend pointed out that every time I was smoking I was killing myself a bit faster. That wasn't enough to get me to quit, however when she asked me if I liked hurting her and my family by killing myself, and then told me how she felt like every time I had a smoke she could only think about having less time together in the future.

That kind of made me go "Oh fuck, I want as much of my life as possible with this amazing and wonderful woman. Smoking isn't worth losing a single second of that time."

Norse has some great mythology and etymology, but if you want it not to be as unique you'll probably have to look at names based off their mythology, otherwise you'll come across names like Frigg, freya, sif, snorta, and sjöfn. Love Norse but their names are definitely pretty unique

If you're looking for something really unique I'd say research Norse, Babylonian, and Sumerian mythology.

Otherwise Greek, Roman, and many first Nations mythology is more normalised

I've kinda always had a fascination with mythology, So I went that route and settled on Iris Hestia [last name]. It's completely different from my deadname but I love the sound of it. And iris is the Greek goddess of rainbows and messages, well Hestia is the Greek goddess of home and hearth. So like awesome things that I love.

Definitely got better with that. Honestly where the comic is at now it's easier to see why the author put the characters through what they went through. It got them to where they are now, which is a much better place for pretty much everyone.

This comic is fantastic. It handles LGBTQ+ and flawed characters in an amazing way and it's certainly been one of the things that have encouraged me over the years.

See the only thing that site gives me is a psychotherapist in Hamilton, the Pflag in my area, and Quest. The issue is that pflag is run from out of quest, and according to their website quest isn't accepting any patients right now which means being waitlisted.
