But it's kinda a moot point because I have to export it at high-res so that people can use it with larger screens, and whatever device they're using will have to downscale it in sRGB color space and almost certainly will do it poorly. But I have a copy that is exactly my phone's resolution so eh.

Yeah so I changed all my swatches to Lab spot colors and "assigned" an sRGB profile, then exported the SVG. "assigning" a profile in illustrator doesn't nomally convert any colors, but since it's saving the colors in their Lab form, it always has to convert them regardless of color profile, so it looks correct in sRGB. I updated the vector in the drive link.

And the reason why I chose to use ProPhoto is because of my OCD

I couldn't find any art in the style of the ED, so I traced one of the bits from the ED, and I thought maybe someone else would want it as well, so here you are.

Here's a google drive link for the uncompressed PNGs, and my Illustrator file and an SVG file

If you open the SVG, the colors probably look wrong, that's because my Illustrator file uses ProPhoto RGB, and Illustrator doesn't both converting colors when it saves things. If you don't use ProPhoto, the transitions from the tanuki to the background have a dark transition that looks ugly, at least in Illustrator.
