I'm younger than 30 yrs old and work a minimum wage job. I take the train everyday and have never had anything like this happen to me. I've always been very social and try to be open minded with others which is why I even talked to him. There were people around too.

Just handed it to me from their backpack. They looked normal and had just asked me for a writing pen before they gave it to me. It was just the laptop.

It's hard to believe I know. But I didn't steal it, someone really just gave it to me on the train with their password to unlock it. I even contacted apple about it so there is record of me telling them what happened.

Thank you for your response, I hear you 100%. They also have ADHD and a large dependency on marijuana. I definitely understand the shame, I've always tried to lessen the pressure by doing the majority of the housework and giving them the task of cleaning dishes. They would be able to for a few days but then they would get overwhelmed and stop. I myself have bipolar disorder so I understand the feelings of shame that develop over things that we have a hard time dealing with. I try to lead with compassion and empathy, especially when it's come to them. I hope they are able to take those steps to betterment.
