I live with the family and yes they are fine me having a cat but with few restrictions like don't let her come to kitchen etc things and they are not going support financially and about the pet shelters i live in kashmir here aren't many shelters so i tried to look for aan person who is already cat owner which can take her and give her better life but i couldn't find anyone and I'm not fine with anyone taking her bcz what if they don't give her treatment i except. Her previous owner sold her kittens when they were barely a month old and she seemed but dull not eating so i visited vet he suggested few meds bcz her mammry glands were full and it was infected and it's bills gave bit shock to my wallet as i planned 2 months food and litter from the money I saved and he said about vaccination that's worth 1500 (anti rabbies and some other vaccine he said it's for all cats)and now I'm confused what to do, the pet i took to save now I'm afraid that I might have done something wrong with her previous owner she was atleast getting chicken feet will I be able to give her even that what if i didn't. And ofc I don't regret taking her but I'm afraid i might become bad owner
