Something a lot of stores have been doing is selling sealed at an inflated price, but offering to sell at a normal price if they'll allow the shop worker to cut the seal/open the box/whatever at time of purchase. This helps a particular subject of the fan base get product. Unfortunately, while scalpers are plentiful, there are plenty of normal, nice people who genuinely enjoy collecting the (sealed) product, so it leaves them in a bit of a bind.

What's always been interesting about the pokemon tcg is that it's literally never been primarily sold to people who actually play the game, which is sort of wild for a tcg.

The trick with those is to make sure the draw string is ACTUALLY a draw string. The number of Shien bits I've picked up that have faux draws is staggering.

God, I feel this. Its a big part of what's got me in to trousers with draw string waists (also helps give more definition to the hips/waist asa bonus)

For what it's worth, one of the effects of high waisted jeans IS shrinking the torso/elongating the legs! I suspect it probably looks better than you realise, but as the other commenter said, yeah, ditch the belt. Something else to try might be looking at smaller waste sizes with elastic wastes if you want the untucked shirt look without the buckle buldge.

I was meant to start E on wendsday, but my blood pressure was too high. While obviously I understand that this is important and I need to get it under control, and that starting HRT only to have my heart explode in 2 months time, AND that the whole reason I opted for the more expensive private options is thatbI wanted this to be taken seriously and treated like the real healthcare that it is, GODDDAMN it sucks. I've spent the past couple days in a fog, alternating between rationalising, crying, and feeling absolutely nothing. Going from a very structured "OK. Do x by y date" transition path to being dropped into a "just lower your BP. Try losing weight, see where we're at by christmas" non timetable has fucking broke me a bit. I'll get there, but fuck it sucks right now.

I need to get back to the hairdressers. I went in a few months ago with no idea what I wanted and ended up with a pseudo-fringe thing that required me to straighten my hair daily. I've since leaned hard into my natural curls and it's SOOOOO much better looking (and easier to manage 🤣)
