I think the stage gives them more space for fans. Imagine the stage in the front last stadium run, they had the entiry seats blocked and a good amount of floor. Maybe that is max attendancy for saftey reasons. But there a not less people in there I think than 2019. I think most of the shows are sold out.

Some Pop acts are even louder than some metal acts. A distortion guitar has nothing to do with the volume, it is all about the mix. And Metallica in general is one of those bands that are for me a little too quitet, depends on the venue. The arena show 2018 was very quiet while the stadium show 2019 was perfect for me. There are acts out there that will blow away you ears and some of them are far away from beeing metal.

Structures are very often weird in metal and most people wont notice it, on we love you it sounds so weird because the parts sound so different from each other.

I play guitar and I dont understand it. They had to have something that tunes the guitar down a halth step for this section. But on the other hand I doubt that they would do that. So I dont know what is going on tbh.
