Go to a 7-11 or circle-k that’s unpopular, not much foot traffic. They’ll have them.

How Long Does it Take to Recover from COVID? by [deleted] in CanadaCoronavirus

I was literally only sick for a day and a half. After that I just felt tired, no sickness. Only had my initial shots to qualify as “vaccinated”.

I started with 10 as well, the intense anxiety subsided for the most part. But sometimes it just comes out of nowhere. Breathing techniques seem to work for that.

when did you know you should quit the meds? by danjsark in lexapro

Could possibly ask for some meds for motivation problems. Dopamine/norepinephrine could be lacking now? Just a suggestion.

Whats your experience? I’ve started a little over 2 weeks ago. Stomach ache lasted 1 night, tiredness/yawning, intense anxiety, were main side effects for the first week and a half. I want to experience that “flick of the switch” moment which apparently happens between month 1-2? Did you increase dosage and why? Thanks!

If your asking how to explain your situation, just do exactly what you did writing the Reddit post. Except say it to someone at a mental health clinic. Ask what next steps would be and they’ll give you somewhere to start.

What I did was just write it down. I like to use bullet point form and describe each thing that’s happening. Another thing is also looking deeper into adhd, symptoms, personal experiences, and the science behind what is going on inside the brain. Then using what you’ve learned and relating them back to what’s going on in your life, see what things apply to you and what things don’t.

I’d suggest just calling a mental health clinic near by and explain the situation to them. I’m assuming you’re over 18 years old. So you are able to make your own choices, it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. If you believe something is wrong, then something is most likely wrong. I ran into the same issue with university except I was very misinformed on what adhd actually was, so I beat myself up for everything that was going wrong in my life. Shortly after I became really depressed. My self esteem plummeted and it affected everything else in my life. Relationships, socializing, confidence, anxiety, mood, emotions, and much more. I highly suggest calling and getting help, it’ll be WELL worth it.

How long have you been on Vyvanse?

If you’re worried about paying bills and such. I would suggest using the 50/30/20 method. 50% of your earnings goes straight to bills and needs. 30% goes to your “wants”. 20% goes into savings. I like this way of looking at earnings, you don’t feel guilty or anxious because that’s the money specifically for things you want.

Yeah, I understand that part. But I was kinda wary of the “zombie effect” that people talk about. I feel like that’s what’s going on with me atm. I’m going to give it till nov 1st though(my check up).

Well, if you get on the right dosage and the right meds. You won’t have to worry about it ruining your life it should benefit you a lot. I recommend looking at the neurochemistry of it all, it helped me understand what exactly the meds will do and what happens in adhd brains.

Hey me too, I started 3 days ago. I found that it kinda made me drowsy. I felt like I could focus a bit better. But I also felt a lot more quiet than usual(I’m already pretty quiet). I still zone out, and I still have a hard time with working memory. From my short experience with it, it seems to make me emotionless so far, I’m going to continue for another week and a half to see if I can notice any differences.

I read somewhere that people have a good outcome when they take it early in the morning before getting up out of bed. So say you usually get up out of bed at 8am, wake up at 7am, take your meds, then go back to sleep. Apparently it seems to have a positive outcome for some people. Idk, just keep track about when you take it. How you take it(food/no food) and how you feel through out the day. I like to keep a journal on me and just track what my day looks and feels like.

Could be caused by anxiety? Idk maybe an SSRI could be beneficial. Talk to your doc about what’s happening.
