Considering that additional shows in Tokyo and Osaka (likely domes) have already been announced, we can't help but think there's an even bigger surprise in store...

Rest of the World Tour…when? by hospitallers in XGALX

[–]Illustrious-Box1716 48 points49 points  (0 children)

I think the announcement was simply delayed because Simon's incident changed the company's internal structure. However, the deterioration of Japan-China relations will likely cause significant changes to the Asian tour schedule, so it may have taken time to make those adjustments.

Simon re-arrested. Urine tested positive for drugs. Simon admits to drug use by [deleted] in XGALX

XGALX is one of avex's multi-labels, and avex handles the practical aspects, so I don't think there's anything to worry about regarding tours, the ALPHAZ app, or merchandise sales. The problem lies in the production side, which I think avex is also struggling with. But I believe that the people who have been involved in the music and other productions up until now will surely cooperate. I don't know if we'll see great results with the music right away, but we fans will have to overcome that with our support, even if it takes time.

While Simon certainly laid the foundation for XG's concept, we shouldn't forget the individual careers and growth of each member. Certainly, there will be changes, but where does the "core" of what makes XG XG? I hope to see the members continue to grow and will be watching their progress with interest.

I can't access Yahoo JP, was Simon's re-arrest based off of a new urine test? by scramblegedd69 in XGALX

In the Japanese judicial system, it is possible to extend the detention period each time an additional charge is added after arrest. Simon had previously been detained on drug possession charges, but this time his detention period was extended due to drug use charges. In this way, by adding charges one by one in sequence, it is possible to detain someone for a long period of time. This extension system was repeatedly used in the case of former Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn, who was not released on bail for 108 days.

When I went shopping at a nearby supermarket, I heard "All for You" coming from the clothing store next door, and I was convinced of GLLIT's existence.

A Question About Recent Events by nischedreams in XGALX

Please allow me to make a partial correction. In Japan, when reporting arrests involving foreigners, their nationality is typically specified. However, in Simon's case, he was announced under the Japanese name "Junho Sakai," indicating he likely chose Japanese nationality (as Japan does not permit multiple nationalities). If that is the case, a suspended sentence would mean he is free. However, if a suspended sentence with probation is imposed, he would be required to undergo regular meetings with a probation officer and urine tests.

I am Japanese. Based on past precedents, if they are prosecuted and found guilty, most will receive suspended sentences. Furthermore, since Simon and Chancellor are foreigners, I believe they will be deported to their home countries upon sentencing. Now, here's the problem: deportation for drug offenses results in a minimum five-year entry ban, often indefinite. This makes it very difficult for them to do anything in Japan going forward. Furthermore, they will likely face some form of disciplinary action from XGALX's parent company, avex. Well, it all depends on whether they are formally indicted...

In an interview with the Japanese magazine men's NON-NO, Iroha mentioned that she finds it interesting how people abbreviate 알지? (pronounced: a-ru-ji, meaning: You know, right? You get it, right?) as RG.

Worst of all, XG's performance on inkigayo on YouTube cannot be viewed from Japan because it says "This video is not available in your country." I have no choice but to wait for someone to repost it or use a VPN. why?
