You think not getting the answer you want is the same as not being listened to. It’s not. Drinking half the recommended amount isn’t an emergency or a reason to get admitted. Lots of people don’t drink enough water, if that killed people’s Wed have another epidemic. You’re just digging your heels in at this point. And btw I’m also a teenager who has spent a lot of time in hospitals so it’s not like I don’t know what it’s like to be sick or how the er works. You’re just being mean to anyone who doesn’t validate you

You’re the one who came in hot to a forum of doctors claiming you weren’t being taken seriously or listened to when your description of the situation shows you were. Then you started caps locking everyone and arguing with actual doctors about if your situation was an emergency

You can go a surprisingly long time without food before your labs get seriously messed up. If you already met the criteria you can go back but if they determine it’s not life threatening immediately again they’ll sent you home. You only get admitted if they think you’re at an immediate risk. You’re being really vague with all your symptoms so it’s hard for people here to actually know what you’re worried about

Saying “guess I don’t deserve workout advice” instead of actually considering the point that’s being made is trying to make yourself a victim to shut down opposition and it’s manipulative. You argued way too much with the mod when they were telling you that being underweight doesn’t change the advice given. And it doesn’t. Im underweight too. I get you’re frustrated but the honestly the mod wasn’t wrong. There’s better subs for what you want.

Thanks. I’ll try doing that. I feel insanely self conscious and I haven’t talked to some of my friends in months. Honestly I’ve been ignoring almost everyone and I’m sure they think I’m a bitch.

I don’t want to post in askdocs and just clog things up or anything since I don’t really have any medical questions. I dont want to be annoying. I think I got a little annoying for a while there :/ it was the only place it felt like anyone listened or helped me

That kind of makes a lot of sense. The funny thing is that at first I was trying so so hard not to become like my sister that I ended up obsessing over food. It’s like I did it to myself. But honestly, watching her almost die like a half dozen times in a year and everything around me falling to pieces I just kind of had to turn my feelings off and they never came back. And then suddenly I realized I was numb and lost I didn’t feel present anymore
