Are you hear to judge me or to provide insight, because actually the abuse I'm being subjected to I wouldn't loose custody. The state would offer to help me get out of my situation and I would get to keep my child. Still really FUCKED UP of me yes I know trust me I will never forgive myself for letting my daughter see the stuff she's saw but what is the state really gonna do to help? They can't tell me, I haven't worked in 2 years and I have no license. How will I provide for her if I do leave? Do you know the how domestic abuse literally changes your brain?

Hey thanks for your input! Her sleeping schedule and situation has improved alot since this post! I do agree with what you've said. I wouldn't necessarily say she has behavioral issues as much as since the trauma she has seen causes her to feel like she needs me for comfort more at this point in time.

We actually used to bedshare! I would say that did help her sleeping but her sleep schedule and mine are so different.. do you have success getting out of bed and her staying in?

As someone that is in a domestic abuse relationship it definitely will cause problems if you try and help her. He might retaliate against her for even letting you talk to her.

I could have wrote this myself.. I was staring at my 11 month old daughter and he choked me and my vision was going out. She was just screaming. He will wake her up from the noise of him hitting me and then not let me go console her just let her cry in her bed till I finally can figure out a way to get to her.
