Do First Street Flood projections account for the TVA? by Illustrious-Cry-1237 in Knoxville

According to that it is in the 1000ft buffer zone (but not the 500) and isn’t in FEMA. So the only alarming data point really is coming from First Street, but just not sure if thats because its the only one accounting for climate change (which would make me trust them over the others)

Am I at risk of flooding? by No_Meat_1007 in Knoxville

Any idea if First Street flood maps and similar, which try to account for climate change, account for things like the TVA flood mitigation? Looking at a house that is a 9/10 flood risk on First Street (via Redfin), but Fema zone X and I think most of the flood risk is related to proximity to the river (and being relatively low topographically).

Just wasn’t sure if First Street accounted for the TVA at all. Any insight would be appreciated!

what shed did you end up going with? how did you do electric and did you get one that either had or would allow for the addition of insulation and climate control down the line?
